Plank House

The Gathering Place at Washuxwal will be an open structure pavilion set along the south side of the Two Rivers Museum in Washougal, WA. Featuring carved art and designed to be reminiscent of the Columbia River style cedar plank houses that once housed the indigenous people of Camas and Washougal; it will serve as an outdoor exhibit to host cultural and community events, field trips, and to educate visitors about the ancient Native heritage that is still part of Camas and Washougal.
